We have just completed some stunning Staron work for a private residence in Tableview, Cape Town.
The owners asked us to clad their existing wooden bar counter in Staron Bright White. And in the words of our team leader, “it turned out rather nicely”.
We also created a bath surround in Staron – and it’s become a beautiful focal point in their en-suite.
We had a little fun developing a Corian Bar for M-Interiors – complete with LED lighting. The bar, created in Glacier White, ended up in a private residence in Nigeria.
If you have been down to Sea Point lately, you will have noticed that the new Regent Square (Checkers Centre) is complete and open to the public.
Techno Surfaces did a lot of the solid surface work in the centre – including cladding the escalators! Definitely a first for us. Other work included the kiosk counters within Checkers and the vanities in the bathrooms.
The escalators were clad in 6mm Corian Glacier White.
Both the kiosk counters and sloping vanities were completed in 12mm Glacier White.
We ended the year on a bit of a thermo-forming high! Environ South Africa asked us to create a new reception desk for their head office in Beaconvale, Cape Town. The job required both our thermo-forming oven and our vacuum press – and we were very pleased with the result.
The counter is produced in Corian Designer White.
It was a busy end to 2013 – and as such our blog is in need of some serious updating! Hoping to add most of our jobs from the end of last year and to keep the site updated with new pics direct from site.
