Cape Town International Airport

Another fantastic project to kick off our year has been the new immigration counters for Cape Town International Airport.

Still on our factory floor, the counters are being clad in Corian Glacier White. Taking pictures within the immigration area will be a big no no but the images below give a good idea of the scope of the project. We are thrilled with the results so far.

Reception Counter for Waterway House

Techno Surfaces has had a busy start to 2017. All of a sudden it’s March and I realise that we haven’t done nearly enough blog posts! Happily we have great projects to share, including this impressive reception counter for Waterway House down at the Waterfront.

Waterway House is part of the new Canal District under development at Cape Town’s bustling V&A Waterfront – the first tenants include Ernst & Young and BAT.

Techno Surfaces is thrilled to be doing the reception counter – all in Corian Glacier White. It’s taking up a fair amount of space on our factory floor, but once done it’s going to be every bit as beautiful as the building itself.

CTFM V&A Waterfront

Our new bar counter for CTFM (Cape Town Fish Market) down at the Clock Tower, V&A Waterfront. CTFM Waterfront must have one of the most beautiful positions in the world. Just gorgeous. With a bar counter to match – in Staron Bright White.

Bidvest Office Furniture

One of Techno Surfaces’ last jobs of 2016 was creating office furniture for Bidvest’s head office in Cape Town. This included a boardroom table in DuPont Corian Deep Nocturne with matte finish. We love, love the end result. Almost as much as we love the quote on their boardroom wall. What a great company.

Cape Town Boat Show

How exciting and gratifying to visit the annual Cape Town Boat Show at the V&A Waterfront last weekend. Techno Surfaces’ work on display in the beautiful boats of Robertson & Caine and Two Oceans Marine. How proud to see our station desks, bar counters, grille tops, cooker tops, vanities etc. out on the water. All in a variety of Corian colours.
